• Fife Club Expands to Islington

Fife Club has been progressing well at Rotherfield School reaching a dramatic conclusion in March in the form of a presentation by both Year 4 classes (60 pupils) to some of the younger children of their school. The presentation included fife and drum performances, some acting and spoken lines, and a wolf! The performance was very well received and everyone was extremely impressed by how much the children had learnt in only five sessions. One particularly enjoyable session involved the children pairing up with one taking the role of 'teacher' and the other as a 'pupil'. Workshop leader Abigail said: "I was quite taken aback how kind the children behaved towards each other during this session. They were so encouraging and helpful to one another and they made excellent progress. It was very sweet to watch them!"
